Record Fair 2026 – Thank You Kamloops!

Thank you Kamloops for making our 2026 Record Fair a success.

This year’s record fair, which took place on Saturday, June 6th at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, had 24 vendor tables, plus the station’s tables, selling music, posters, stereo equipment and musical instruments.

We had 211 patrons come through the doors, and we were able to give away a lot of great promotional material to them as a celebration of our station, their dedication and music culture. We raised over $1,500 to help with operating costs for our volunteer run, non-commercial radio station.

CFBX would like to thank:

All CFBX volunteers who helped out with organizing the fair, helping patrons and vendors, and moving tables, chairs and boxes of music to and from the venue.

St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church for providing the venue.

AM to FM Promotions, Tonchinkan Records, Shortwave Records, ZBTFD Records, Ken Whitely,Top Ropes, 5th Projekt, Thompson Rivers University and many others who provided giveaways and promotional material to us to give to our patrons.

All of our patrons who enjoyed all the vendor tables and took home great music.

All vendors. Vendor Randy Zayshley had this to say:

Thank you for putting on such a fantastic record fair! You did an amazing job. All the vendors I talked to were ecstatic as well. I had lots of fun. I can’t wait for next year!

TRU Facilities for providing tables and chairs, and Clint Cochrane in particular for helping with loading in and out.

We’ll see everyone next year!
