I was a student volunteer, this is my first year not in TRU studies & my

Yes, I’m a community volunteer & I enjoy exposing obscure & underrated metal music. - What is it about volunteering in general that appeals to you?
Giving back to our community. - What other hobbies and interests do you have outside of doing campus/community radio?
I enjoy graphic art, hiking, kayaking & snow shoeing. Listening to metal music & playing video games. - In what way are you contributing to CFBX as an off air volunteer? What do you enjoy about it?
Helping out with record fairs, I enjoy the people & the classic albums. - What would you tell a prospective volunteer who is considering joining CFBX?
It’s easier than I expected & the other volunteers are very helpful. - What does campus/community radio mean to you?

I enjoy Ska on the X (Wednesdays, 7-8 PM), great local & underrated music. - Name an artist you discovered through your time at CFBX that you’d like others to know about.

No one in particular, all local artists deserve to have some exposure. - Do you enjoy attending live concerts? Why? Can you tell us about your favorite live concert that you’ve been to?
I love live concerts, Iron Maiden-Legacy of the Beast(2019) was my favourite concert in Vancouver! - What is your show about? What would a listener hear when they tune in?
Local & obscure metal music, they’d hear underrated metal music. - What makes your show unique? Why do you think listeners are interested in your show?
I give an honest history of each band with updates on their current status. - What do you hope to do with your show in the future? What direction do you see your show moving?
I hope to feel comfortable enough to have regular interviews with local musicians withthe emphasis on exposing listeners to music they haven’t heard before.
