Thursday March 16: Local metal band Padova play with Penticton punk band We Are Not a Cult and Fraser Valley metal band Plague Doctor at the Kami Inn. Doors open at 7 PM, show starts at 8 PM. Cover charge is $10.

Friday, March 17: Edmonton metal band Fall of Earth with local guests Knox and Dendros plays the Kami Inn. Doors open at 7 PM and tickets are TBA.

Friday, March 17: Local band Shattered Blue plays a St. Paddy’s Day show at Mason’s Kitchen and Bar. Doors open at 7 PM. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door.

Friday-Saturday, March 17-18: 6 Cell presents the 2-Day Bender at the Effie. On Friday, rappers Mickey O’Brien and Dubgee take the stage at 8 PM. On Saturday, German/Canadian rapper Junk performs at 8 PM. Tickets are $25 for each show, available at, and $30 at the door. A two-day pass it available for $50 as well.

Sunday, March 26: Toronto folk singer Claire Coupland plays a coffeehouse show at the Effie Arts Collective. Show runs 2-6 PM, tickets available at

Tuesday, March 21: A folk double bill with the Martimes’ Dave Gunning and multi-instrumentalist JP Cormier at the Vernon Jazz Club. Show starts at 9:45 PM, and tickets are available at

Thursday, March 30: Tragically Hip tribute band The Hip Replacements play the Blue Grotto. Tickets are $25 at, show starts at 9 PM.

Thursday, March 30: A country show featuring Big Fancy and the Shiddy Cowboys, Dani-Rae Clark and the Let Downs, and local opener Nightingvle at London Creature, 662 Seymour St. Show starts at 8 PM. Tickets TBA.

Friday, March 31: Locals The Stonefruits play the Effie as the last stop on their Slow Burn Tour, where they will officially release their debut EP. Tickets and time TBA.

Saturday, April 1: Mr. M’s 1 Man Band plays the Pogue Mahone. Show starts at 8 PM, this is a free concert.

Tuesday, April 4: Canadian roots and blues musicians Charlie A’Court and Suzie Vinnick, with Australian musician Lloyd Speigel play the Vernon Performing Arts Centre in Vernon, BC. Doors open at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $0 available at the Ticket Seller Box Office, or by calling 250-549-7469.

Saturday, April 22: A punk show featuing Calgary’s Quit it!, and locals Soundcity Hooligans, Sweater Kittens and Voltage at the Kami Inn. Show starts at 8 PM, door is $20.

Friday, April 28: Canadian/American jazz band Nick Maclean Quartet with Brownman Ali play On the Rocks Pub and Grill. Show starts at 9 PM and the event is free.

Thursday, May 11: Sean McCann, ex of Great Big Sea, will play the Effie Arts Collective. Show starts at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $40, available at
