The Battle of the Bands competition was held Wednesday evening in Downtown Kamloops. Two bands vied for various prizes including $1,000 to spend at Lee’s Music and a recording session to produce a radio ready song at a local studio. Competing bands were Honour Bound from Williams Lake

and The Stonefruits from Kamloops. Both bands played energetic and enjoyable sets.

Local musician Brendan Methot provided the entertainment between sets.

The winner was The Stonefruits from Kamloops. They took away the trophy and assorted prizes.
