Ego and Absolute

It is impossible to compare the ego and the Absolute. The Absolute is undefinable and unlimited; you cannot compare something that is defined to something that cannot be defined.

We still persist in comparing the ego to enlightenment (or the experience of the Absolute). We still persist in seeing the ego as separate from, or at best, part of the Absolute, when the Absolute can never be divided. This is the start of the irony.

The more we persist, the more it is unlikely to happen. (More irony.) It is the same Absolute, expressing itself as the ego, that is trying to become what it already is – the Absolute.
