Fall Volunteer Drive Sept 7-24th

CFBX is now recruiting volunteers for on air and off air positions.

If you have ever wanted your own radio show and want to help out the TRU campus/community radio station, now’s the time to get involved. We program a wide variety of music and spoken word programming, focuses mainly on material that can’t be heard on mainstream radio. Music programming ranges from country, blues and folk to metal, electronic and hip-hop. Spoken word programming can focus on news, culture, sports, politics and more. If you have an idea, we’ll help you develop it. If you don’t have an idea, we’ll find something for you to do!

All programming at CFBX is done by volunteers, and you don’t need any special talents or skills to get involved. We teach you everything you need to know!

CFBX is a small and friendly workplace, and a friendly and fun place to work. Get job skills and meet other passionate programmers working at our station.

To get involved, drop by the station and fill out an application. We’re located at House 8, behind the Campus Activity Centre, next to the Horticulture Garden. You can phone us at 250-377-3988 or email to radio@tru.ca for more information.

Drop by our info booths coming up on campus, Friday, September 7th at the Back to School BBQ in the Campus Commons, and Wednesday, September 12th for Clubs Day in front of Old Main. We’ll have applications, plus we’ll be giving out music and stickers too!

CFBX, volunteer and make your mark!
