Recapping the book,The Inside Out Revolution, by Michael Neill, was an interesting cross between a spiritual focus and a self-motivational/self-development focus. SubtitledThe Only Thing You Need To Know To Change Your Life Forever, it certainly sounded more motivational than spiritual. Based on the work of Syd Banks, who developed a newer paradigm in psychology known as transformative conversation, it probably was not intended as a spiritual book.
Yet it is! The book focuses on how we need to be ‘online’ instead of locked into our usual inner conversations about whom did what and what I should do next. The book lists three principles as outlined by Syd Banks: Mind, Consciousness and Thought before distinguishing between Big Mind and little mind (sound familiar?) It’s pointed out that we are all equal, in that we all derive from these three principles.
